Ana Clara has extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts and commercial agreements, wealth and succession planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including due diligence and representing clients in shareholder disputes. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Catholic University of Brasília – UCB and a postgraduate degree in corporate law from Escola Brasileira de Direito. She is also certified in bankruptcy and judicial reorganization by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), M&A by Editora Capital Aberto, and compliance by the Brazilian Bar Association, DF section.

Eric holds an LL.M from Columbia University and a Master of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Brasília (UnB). Eric also serves as competition law professor at IDP University and as compliance professor at IBMEC University. Since 2019, he has taught competition law at Fundação Getúlio Vargas’ in-house course for the Brazilian Antitrust Authority (CADE).

He was the Deputy Head of the Secretariat of Economic Law’s Antitrust Division and Head of the Agriculture and Industry Unit, the equivalent to the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. Eric coordinated several dawn raids and investigations, including joint investigations with Brazil’s criminal authorities. Eric represented the Brazilian Government in the cartel sub-group of the International Competition Network (ICN) and continues to contribute to the ICN as a Non-Governmental Advisor. Following his government work, he was an associate with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, in Brussels.

He has been a member of the Competition and Anticorruption Committees of the Brazilian Bar Association (both at the National and Local Chapters) and has been listed by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, Leaders League and other rankings multiple times over the years.

Julia is part of the antitrust, anti-corruption and consumer protection teams. In the antitrust area, she assists clients in anticompetitive investigations. She also represents clients in filings and challenging merger cases before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE). She also helps with the structuring of compliance programs and conducts internal investigations. Julia also represents clients in administrative and judicial matters in consumer law cases.

Julia also has experience in civil litigation and business consulting.

Julia is a member of the Brazilian Association of Procedural Law Students (“ABEDP”).

He assists individuals and family businesses with estate organization in Brazil and abroad. Caetano has extensive experience in corporate restructuring projects, structuring of new businesses, and implementing corporate governance policies.

Caetano holds postgraduate diplomas in Civil Law and Procedural Law (Brazil), and Finances, Investments, and Banking from PUCRS (Brazil), as well as several corporate law and business contracts courses, including at FGV (Brazil). He is a professor at the Legal Practice Center at UniCEUB.

Bárbara is part of the antitrust, compliance and intellectual property team. In the antitrust area, she assists clients in anticompetitive investigations. She also represents clients in filings and challenging merger cases before the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE); and participates in leniency and settlement negotiations with CADE.

In the compliance area, Bárbara participates in the structuring of compliance programs and helps conduct internal investigations. In intellectual property, Bárbara represents clients in trademark and industrial design registration proceedings before the National Institute of Industrial Property – INPI. She also assists clients in copyright violations and unfair competitive practices.

Bárbara is a graduate of the Brasília University Center (UniCEUB). She is the Deputy Secretary-General of the Antitrust Committee of the Federal District Bar Council (OAB-DF) from 2022 to 2024. She is a member of the Research Group in Economic and Competition Law at Research and Development Institute -IDP and the Women in Antitrust Network (WIA).
